Early announcement - Public Lecture on the Political Stand of Arab countries viz a viz the Palestinian issue

Assalamualaikum and greetings.

PACE will be organizing a public lecture on the political stand of the Arab countries (with particular reference to Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia) viz a viz the Palestinian issue, as follows.

Speaker: Prof Dr Abdullah Ahsan


Abdullah al-Ahsan is professor at the Department of History and Civilization, International Islamic University Malaysia. Graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, Dr. Ahsan has contributed many articles on the relationship between contemporary Islamic and Western civilizations. Two of his major books are: The Organization of the Islamic Conference: Introduction to and Islamic Political Institution (1988) and Ummah or Nation: Identity Crisis in Contemporary Muslim Society (1992). He is currently working on Muslim Nations in Contemporary History and Rise and Fall of Civilizations. He is actively involved in World Council of Muslims for Inter-Religious Relations (WCMIR) and International Movement for a Just World (JUST).
